The Vegetarian Society UK is the World’s oldest vegetarian organisation. The Vegsoc approved trademark is the only vegetarian symbol to be legally governed by a licence agreement thus giving consumers that extra piece of mind and confidence in the products displaying the symbol. For a product to be approved by the society it must meet the criteria below:
